| I am more alive than i have been my entire life. And i feel it. Everything, including myself, is more than it seems. The world is a beautiful place full of beautiful people. There is much to learn. As humans we are making incredible advancements. Religion, science, psychology, philosophy, etc. Just look at what we know! And look at what we don't know! The barriers will soon fade between those. Right now, we have never been more caring. Support groups, hospitals, self help books! We just want to help those in need.
America is growing fast. Many people are calling themselves successful. In a way, america is. We do have a lot of banks because a lot of people are making money. As we continue to reach out we must realize to first reach in. That might explain emptiness felt in cooperate america.
The world is in incredible place. In it, live people full of infinite potential and purpose. Is everyone perfect? Well, every mistake made is an opporunity to grow. I am quite thankful for my mistakes.
It may seem like things are getting bad. Like the divorce rate. Are people actually becoming more unhappy? Are young adults just "emotionally immature and unstable, influenced by fletting sex attraction or worldy considerations that ignore the noble purpose of marriage"? Possibly. And could it be that they are later realizing their unhappiness (a particular marriage) and are choosing to get out and start over? Could it be that in the past unhappy people just stay in a failed marriage because they have no hope for anything else? That would sure keep the divorce rate down. It's interesting that the divorce rate is the same and higher in the church than outside. More divorces could mean either we're messing up more, or we're realizing potential. And as for the media. It may seem that doom and gloom is everywhere, but...some things are not as they seem. The media sure knows how to manipulate the world.
"Moderation? It’s mediocrity, fear, and confusion in disguise. It’s the devil’s reasonable decption. It’s the wobbling compromise that makes no one happy. Moderation is for the bland, the apologetic, for the fence sitters of the world afraid to take a stand to live or die. Moderation is lukewarm tea, the devil’s own brew!" |
